Teachers Open House

Join museum staff for an evening just for teachers as you explore multiple facets of George Washington as portrayed in Discover the Real George Washington: New Views from Mount Vernon, which opens Friday, Feb. 19.

Enjoy a preview of the exhibit, refreshments, lectures, tours and door prizes while mingling with other area educators. The evening provides a great overview of History Center resources and upcoming programs. It’s an event of Presidential proportions!

This program is FREE and offers three (3) Act 48 credit hours with online pre-registration. You must provide the Professional Personnel ID number issued to you by the Pennsylvania Department of Education when you register to receive Act 48 credit.
