The M.A. Baskind Company Collection, 1895-1996
For three generations, the Baskind family sold wallpaper from their store on Baum Boulevard in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh. This collection includes advertisements, correspondence, photographs, ledgers, and documents concerning employee relations, finances, history, marketing, property, and seminars. The records demonstrate the day-to-day affairs of running a wallpaper business.
